Virgin Hair Extension Care

Straight Hair

 Pre Installation

  • Avoid cutting the wefts. This will avoid damage and or shedding. If wefts are cut seal them.
  • When hair is received it is recommended that you co-wash the hair. Make sure to wash in a downward motion. AVOID hot water. Wash warm rinse cold.
  1. Before washing already installed hair or hair that’s being reused. Brush the hair with a paddle/wig brush starting at the ends and working your way up.
  1. Wash or co-wash the hair at least once a week or every other week. Air drying after shampooing and conditioning is highly recommended for all hair types. Wash in warm water and rinse thoroughly in cold water.
  1. Use a moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and or leave-in conditioner especially if the hair has been color treated. Avoid using any other styling products between washes.
  1. Blot hair with towel after washing do not squeeze hair to get water out. 
  1. Do not apply any heavy oils on hair as they will weigh the hair down and resulting in less movement and possible tangling.
  1. Avoid using alcohol based products and use a heat protectant when curling the hair. 
  1. Ceramic styling tools are recommended

 

 

Curly & Wavy Hair

Pre Installation

  1. AVOID brushing the hair. It may cause breakage. Instead use your fingers or a wide tooth comb, starting from the ends and working upward.
  1. Wash or co-wash the hair at least once a week or every other week. Air drying after shampooing and conditioning is highly recommended for all hair types. Wash in warm water and rinse thoroughly in cold water.
  1. Use a mild shampoo and moisturizing conditioner and or leave-in conditioner especially if the hair has been color treated. Avoid using any other styling products between washes. Using a shampoo for curls is recommended.

Styling Curly/Wavy Hair

  • For that just washed look, use leave in conditioner & water mixed in a spray bottle.
  • Lightly spritz hair with the mixture working it through
  • Comb through w/wide tooth comb or fingers beginning at the ends and working your way up
  • Scrunch up hair gently to form curls.
  • Let the hair air dry.

Nightly Routine

  •  Braid hair in a loose braid, wrap hair around or pineapple hair (depends on texture)
  • Sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet to protect hair while sleeping.
  • It is recommended it protect and cove hair at all times while not in use

 

Coloring Hair

Our hair is 100% virgin human hair that has not been processed.  Yes you can certainly color the hair, however once Virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin.
